Virginia Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association
The Virginia Widows Sons Masonic Rider Association (VAWSMRA) is an Independent and Sovereign Body of Master Masons in the Jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Virginia and under the Executive Board of Virginia Chapter Representatives/Presidents. No Body or Individual other than the Virginia Executive Board speaks for the Widows Sons of Virginia. The Widows Sons of Virginia is comprised of Master Masons and dually sponsored female family members of those Affiliated Chapters which have been chartered by the VAWSMRA and which are in the geographic jurisdiction of the Commonwealth of Virginia. All such Widows Sons Chapters shall affiliate with VAWSMRA and comply with its Constitution and Bylaws. All Master Mason members shall be in good standing and remain in good standing in the records of their Blue Lodges. The chapter shall not accept into any form of membership anyone who is a member of a clandestine lodge or a lodge that is not recognized by the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge AF&AM of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
We pledge that as members of the Virginia Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association, we, above all others shall set a good example and never bring dishonor to the Widows Sons or ourselves. We pledge that we will support our brethren in the Widows Sons regardless of race, creed, color, or national origin, and will never knowingly bring reproach upon a fellow brother of the Widows Sons. We pledge to resist any forces, which would seek to undermine or bring reproach on the Widows Sons or its members, and we shall always strive to bring respect and dignity to the Virginia Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association.
One of our biggest charity is our dedication and love to the Virginia Masonic Home. Each year we raise money for the Home and Residents live at the home. Our chapters adopt their Residents and look out for them by visiting and making sure they know we care about them.
We also support many Nobel causes like Virginia Masonic Home in Richmond, Virginia, Shriners Hospitals, and Scottish Rite Speech and Hearing Clinics throughout the country. We are involved in the American Red Cross with our Blood Drives or gathering up food and clothes for the less fortune citizens. We serve our country through the United States Armed Forces or serve as policemen, firefighters, EMT, and even sponsoring the Boy Scouts of America. Our main common bond is our love of riding, building, and working on motorcycles from every make and model which gives us a great opportunity to share our Brotherhood.
